If there is anyone who deserves our full attention it is our Lord.

God alone can bring us to a place of peace.

Be known less by your anger, and more by your mercy.

God sends to us the Spirit of truth, not to validate our “truth, but His.

When God switches gears, switch gears with Him.

Walking the walk is still required of those who profess to know Christ.

The Bible contains all that we need for every situation we could face.

Our love for God must be more than words.

We only hurt ourselves when we give God our back.

Peacemaking is an art that must be taught to us by God.

Beware of justifying your angry actions.

Who do you believe in a day when “truth has fallen in the streets?”

Jesus did not come into this world to deliver us from suffering.

We are undone without Jesus.

Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.

To glory in men is incompatible with glorying in God.

There is an underlying motive in teaching and believing false doctrine.

Don’t let your love for others be conditioned on their love for you.

Cease from yourself, and your own work.

Answer His knock.

Recognize each individual day as part of your story and song.

The great tragedy of the lost is that they will be alone forever.

Join the company of those who will worship God for all eternity.

Be all God has made you to be.

There is one sure promise to the righteous and another to the wicked.

A true friend will speak the truth to us in love.

Let God’s true light chase away the darkness of delusion.

God requires us to DO the truth, not merely assent to it.

Without God’s perspective, situations can become intolerable.

Let God’s big deal be your big deal.

To truly love you must be willing to love more than you are being loved.

How much do we love and pursue peace?

There’s an even better reason to say no to sin.

God created us for something better than we could ever imagine for ourselves.

Will you choose to hear the voice of the Comforter or the discomforter?

Can those who have truly heard from God afford to be silent?

Only light can reprove darkness.

Don’t let the day dictate how safe you feel.

It is not too late to change what kind of soil you are.

The lifeline has been thrown out to all who are perishing.

The spiritual gift that is most missing in many Spirit-filled churches is the discerning of spirits.

Speak plain truth, and expect to be heard by those who have ears to hear.

Nothing man does can change who God is.

Pity those whose hearts and minds are bereft of the riches of God’s Word.

Before giving to others, we must receive from Him.

Don’t die in a wilderness of unbelief.

God is who He is, whether we like it or not.

We can do evil in finding a wrong way to escape certain suffering.

Can two walk together except they are agreed? No.

Full submission must precede “reasonable service.”

Waiting on the Lord is an art that every child of God must learn.

Only the Holy Spirit can produce conformity to Christ in us.

Faithfulness to God often places us right in the path of affliction.

Our future depends on our rightly dealing in the present with our past.

No one needs our opinion; everyone needs God’s truth.

To be in Christ is to be fully equipped to walk even as Christ walked.

Embrace the possibility of change at the deepest level of your being.

We cannot afford to have our “own truth.”

The artistry of man is no substitute for the consolations of God.

Don’t let false prophets, teachers, and shepherds seduce you.

When will the Lord become to us what He was always meant to be?

Don’t be afraid of God’s eyes upon you.

God has made worship possible; we must make it actual.

God’s aim for our life is much deeper and broader than we think.

Whatever brings us to our knees is a good thing.

Let none other usurp God’s rightful place.

True success is walking in daily obedience to God.

Pessimism should not be our default mindset.

What do we have to gain or lose by the quality of our hearing?

Success in God’s eyes is not earthly results, but faithfulness.

There is no hope for a sound mind outside of a walk in the Spirit of Christ.

Adults need God’s parental oversight every bit as much as children.

Each of us has opportunities to find Christ on a daily basis.

What’s inside of us comes out and reflects who we are.

Jesus had no interest in the trappings of religion.

There is no true worship of God without submission.

Secret, ungodly, un-crucified desires are “ticking time bombs.”

The only thing that matters is the sending of God.

What was attractive about Jesus?

For what reason should we live for God?

What does it matter if the whole world applauds us, but God doesn’t?

At all times, the true and living God is worthy of our every breath.

It is impossible to go through life without being hurt.

We must stand for THE Truth, the WHOLE truth, and NOTHING BUT the truth of God’s Word.

The beautiful benefit of trusting in God is a life full of intimate experience with Him.

God calls us to be “valiant for the truth,” even when the truth hurts.

The greatest enemy our children face is not outside them.

The church is at a crossroads in this day.

God’s beauty more than makes up for any ugliness we contend with in life.

Our anger must be brought to God before it is unleashed on man.

It is time to walk as Jesus walked.

Giving God power means giving God control over your life.

Shod your feet with the gospel of peace.

Learn to love the praise of God more than the praise of men.

Know you are on a wrong path when those of the world cheer your actions.

The judgment seat of Christ will be a place of incredible surprises.

Tribulations are the indispensable means for God to work patience in our life.

What attracts men does not attract God.

Christ never intended for the church to point to the church.

You don’t have to be swept away by any out of control passion.

Life can make us sick; but joy is the medicine that keeps us going.

May we get outside the confines of our narrow inner world.

The gentle are those who have God’s strength to wait.

We cannot hate someone and have fellowship with God.

God runs toward us when we make any movement toward Him.

Beware of a bitter spirit toward your Maker.

At times we can feel so weighed down in our spirit that we don’t want to go forward.

The Holy Spirit is God’s “firefighter.”

Peace is a prize we must fight for.

Without forgiveness our spirit is forever wounded.

If you are going to endure hard things, God needs you to do one thing first.

When others step away from us, God steps toward us.

If we will not give Christ all, He will take nothing.

What matters most of all is where we are going with our heavy heart.

Being in a love relationship with God is the ultimate human experience.

How should we respond to a new lease on life?

Give honor to whom honor is due.

A fear of rejection can keep us from making supplication to God.

Defensiveness is the hallmark of the proud.

Only what God creates in us by His grace is everlastingly beautiful.

What should we want developed in our life?

Keep believing that God will work through the love you show.

Beware of where your feet, and your mind, would want to wander.

We must be Spirit-led in our correction.

Fixing fools is God’s problem.

God knows how to exalt Himself.

The person who feels they are most above pride is most in danger of it.

Don’t be afraid of your weakness that leads to God’s strength.

We are not to glory in what we know but in Who we know.

Anger is a golden opportunity to share more deeply in the life of Christ.

Ministry to the sick should never be a ministry of condemnation.

Be where Jesus is in heart. Lay low with Him.

The patient enjoy the good fruit of every season.

God wants to bring us to mercy – but not before we get real.

Those who are always looking up to God never look down on others.

What do we do when God appears to be running late?

“I didn’t realize how profoundly alone I was until the Lord revealed to me His love for me.”

God doesn’t forget anything that is done out of love to His Name.

Jesus advocated against the mentality which gives in order to get.

Talking about love is easy; walking in love is a daily challenge.

What will it take for you to win honor from above?

Don’t think God will settle for easy religion.

Being an overcomer in Christ is not the product of having a “faith formula.”

What is it that causes one to spiritually starve themselves to death?

We can learn much of Christ in seasons of denial and delay.

Resist the temptation to set things right by your own power.

God knows what it feels like to be unwanted.

What God would do with us depends on our commitment to Him.

How is it that there are those who still resist Christ?

Ungodly man would be his own sovereign.

When God is our chief goal, He is glad to give us other goals to reach for.

We limit God when we tell Him what He can and cannot use for His glory.

God uses the most unsavory instruments to do His greatest work in us.

We can mistake abiding in God with being in His presence.

We should be the first in line to distrust ourselves.

Real love is expressed in commitment and consideration.

Pride truly causes the loss of one’s better judgment.

Christ had His cross and we have ours.

The love of God that wins a man sees past his fault to his need.

God’s Word has not become outdated and has no need for revision.

There is a provision in God for the most disturbing of circumstances.

Jesus came to usher us into the same full experience He had with God.

Live a life that is awe-inspiring to angels.

Our greatest battles are fought in our mind.

Examining ourselves is vital in escaping hypocrisy.

Grace does not give us a license to “safely” sin.

Beware of a “made up mind” when you are not seeking God.

There is a difference between purpose and godly direction.

People need to see in us is a life of devotion that mirrors the life of Jesus.

Do we even need one other person than God to love us?

Our salvation is not merely a ticket to heaven.

What fuels our itch to know?

Satan still seeks to dupe Christ’s Body.

Every minister of God must overcome discouragement.

Don’t be afraid of God-ordained darkness.

We must serve notice on the devil.

The backs of men can be endured when we are living before the face of God.

Only what God creates in us by His grace is beautiful.

Our calling is to love imperfect people.

You cannot live for God and yourself.

Don’t let your righteousness be a figment of your own imagination.

We need a finer ability to discern between what is of our spirit and what is of His Spirit.

Do yourself a favor: pray, before you speak.

Have you been dumped by a religious bunch? Jesus is looking for you.

Meekness is not weakness.

Who you choose to surround yourself with reveals who you are.

What will you need to keep you from being “exalted above measure?”

Show yourself only to God and He will surely show Himself to you.

If you would choose to be different in a godly way you must choose Christ.

Be glad for a day of obscurity that God has orchestrated.

We can bury anger, but sooner or later, we will have to face it.

Casting our cares upon the Lord is an act of self-preservation.

Don’t change for anyone but God.

Change comes slowly to the best of us.

God knows better than we do when all things are ready.

What is this strange itch to have others know “who we really are?”

Guilt and shame are not enough to restore a broken relationship.

“Loving yourself” is not the key that will unlock the door to peace.

Our own haste leads to waste.

God knows where He is taking us.

Take advantage of deep waters and fiery trials.

We grow to the degree that we can receive correction.

A “merry heart” is a by-product of abiding in the Lord.

Our deep desire for intimacy can never be met outside of a friendship with God.

Don’t be weary of the One who can revive your heart and make your life worth living.

Our God can keep us alive and thriving even in a dry and thirsty land.

God calls us to be led of His Spirit, not driven by our emotions.

God wants the reality of His presence to be greater than any other reality in our life.

We can torment ourselves with what we don’t know.

Bring your wildest thoughts and emotions to God.

Those who boast in themselves are left to eventually discover their inadequacy.

There is one thing which endures forever.

There are many who have stopped preaching Christ in order to preach themselves.

To walk in the fear of the Lord we must have an eye first and foremost toward Him.

There is a world around us that needs a demonstration of the goodness of God.

Patience is our stepping stone to God’s manifold blessing.

Make it the renewed business of your life to pursue and gain all that the Lord has for you.

If you plan on speaking for God don’t expect to be popular among men.

You don’t have to know now what you will know later.

God knows how to decompress our over-full hearts.

Do not despise the weak. Without Christ we are all weak.

God is able to change us at the level we need changing.

What witness are you leaving to heaven and to earth?

Give others their first dose of amazing grace.

God uses the deepest trials to deepen our abiding in Him.

There are times when God exposes to us how small-hearted we are.

Experience in God follows obedience to God.

What must God do to curb hastiness of spirit in even His choicest saints?

Disobedience leaves us spiritually empty and barren.

You, and the teachers or “ancients” you trust, just might be wrong.

The Lord can preserve us blameless in every evil day.

What should encourage us as we face a world filled with the possibility of pain?

Where would any of us be if our Lord acted toward us like a Pharisee?

When men’s voices get loud, let God’s voice be louder.

We have a limited time frame in which the Lord calls us to seek His face and get His help.

Does God always have to give us a good reason for why things are as they are?

Only the Lord really knows the true condition of our heart.

Don’t take for granted the comfort and consolation that God would give you in every situation of life.

The evidence of faith includes but goes beyond what we confess with our mouth.

The message of self-love is extraordinarily seductive.

Don’t let anyone tell you that God is silent.

We are called to love both the sinner and the false saint.

Do you really want to know what others think of you?

God can preserve us blameless if we will let Him.

Men are very bad at playing God.

To those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, every bitter thing is made sweet.

So much of our unhappiness comes through an unhealthy self-focus.

When we’ve been hurt, we must let God show up.

More than ever in this day, both men and women want to be worshipped.

God opens up with us when we open up with Him.

Never be ashamed of being a poor beggar before God.

At the end of the day do you hope men will extol you or God?

God would make us good while we wait for Him to do us good.

God works through our obedience.

The true prize of the Christian life is not a Place, it is a Person.

Don’t be weary in well doing.

God yearns to raise up those who can help others to see.

Beware of men’s feet. Even Gamaliel will fail you.

In your zeal for truth, don’t forsake mercy.

If we are to be filled with all the fullness of God we will delight in mercy.

God has shown us what is good and what He requires of us.

Why does God choose the weak, foolish, and despised things of the world?

For those who are in Christ there is no useless event.

The worship God seeks goes much deeper.

Beware of “little foxes” that ruin the fruit God would bring forth in your heart and life.

Trust Jesus to make you into a new person.

Man’s extremity has always been God’s opportunity.

Consideration is at the heart of love.

God has faith in no man, His faith is in Himself.

Do yourself and others a favor – hold fast mercy, let go of vengeance.

There is a joy that transcends the darkest night and most difficult day.

Never let backsliders convince you God came up short.

If we are to know the blessed life we must be givers.

Descent into darkness begins with rejecting God’s revelation of Himself.

Doctrine should not be built on cleverly strung together “proof-texts.”
