Like living at His feet
To look nowhere but to Him
And to His arms be led
He tells me He’s my Papa
And I am His dear child

From man and from His God
So we could find acceptance
Above this earthly sod

Eternal good is what I seek, pleasure without regret
This is your holy privilege, this is your holy right
To walk on highest places and never lose a fight
The past is now behind me, the future is not mine
I only have the present, will I redeem the time?
Lord take my hand and guide my feet
Into things now unknown
I will not fear if You are near
And your right way is shown
His mercies are renewed each day
His promises don’t fail

But through this quest to be wanted
Desired and loved by someone
I suddenly saw He was looking
And calling me gently to come
This world and all its lusts
Will one day soon be past
But those who do God’s will
Alone will win at last
This alone is why I sing and why I can’t be sad
Above I have a Friend indeed, His smile has made me glad
Rejoice that He’s your portion
Rejoice though rich or poor
Rejoice that He is with you
The more this world will hate my Lord, the more I will adore Him
The more they mock His holy Name, the more I will live for Him
Take care for more than pleasant things which one day will be gone
Take hold of Him and He will bring an everlasting dawn
A time has been made for each purpose
A season when things should be done
Make sure that in all God is leading
Or you’ll miss the beat for each one.
May I not from You turn back
To face this life alone
I dare not walk a single step
If You remain unknown
Should I care what people say, and want to win their praise?
Or should I live to please myself, for no one change my ways?
There is just one, it is not me, for whom I ought to live

A spirit of fornication is the driving force behind an addiction to pornography.
The spirit of anarchism within the world will effect many within the church.
Our greatest enemy in having true judgment in our dealings with others is our walking in our own mind.
Be still and know that I am God
I rule above, below
And if with Me you’ll always be
You’ll let Me run the show
Speak to me, on You I wait
This is my one great MUST
Let go of goods that are not best
For better jewel above the rest
This only is my heart’s cry, this only is my plea
That I would cross the finish, when Christ is formed in me
For thorns imbedded in our flesh reveal our deepest need
To have much more of Jesus Christ, to know His grace indeed
Lord, every urge to look, to hear, to speak a foolish word
Needs consent within the heart or flies off like a bird
If from man you hope to find what only God can give
In sorrow you will spend your days and never truly live
God would make us good while we wait for Him to do us good.
If there are any people in the world who are not thin-skinned it should be those who follow Jesus the Nazarene.
Do we want God to work in our life? He works through our obedience.
Our purpose is to point you to The Way.
The testimony of Pastor Michael Beck.
Devote yourselves now more than ever to every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Enduring Chastening Under the Care of a Good Shepherd
It is not strange that any of us, believer or unbeliever, should want OUT of any painful situation.
Our gaining spiritual wealth is having our heart transformed into the very heart of Jesus Christ.
Are we willing to allow God to use the most painful things in our life to compel us towards Him?

Before a person gets saved they live in a certain world characterized by sin.
God does not help those who help themselves, He helps those who help others.
Despite experiencing perplexity, God’s covenant people do not have to live without hope.
What the World Has Against Jesus
Depression can only be cured by a fresh seeking of God.
The essence of a wicked attitude is a refusal to seek God’s input and involvement in our thoughts.
Religion is a trap every bit as dangerous as the vile pits of the world. In fact, religion is a far more dangerous pit.
There are versions of Christianity and then there is Christianity. Religious people mistake the former for the latter.
One cannot heed the voice of an idol and heed the voice of God.
When Our Voice is Heard on High
The “I Will’s” of King David

There is one thing that I must do and only call success
To every day close by you stay and in your presence rest
The good He has wrought in me
However much sublime
Is not for any other
For God alone I shine.
Until Jesus has set us free, we cannot be the servants of obedience, we are servants of sin.
Letting Judgment Lead to Righteousness.
Why God Has Appeared to Us in Christ.
A form of worship that lacks the power and essence of true worship will characterize many last days believers.
Have you been brought into the New Covenant? Then here is your covenant charge.
The distinguishing mark of every true disciple is the desire to be where Jesus is.
While Scripture calls us to be full of “good” care, it also calls us to be without “bad” care.
Should we pursue or forbear?
Having God By Our Side
The church should be the one place where a “pro-child” spirit is taught and exemplified.
Offenses give us the opportunity to grow in grace and increase what “lies within us” of the Spirit of Christ.

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith. – (Colossians 2:6)
It takes an encounter with the uber-generosity of God to turn us into great givers.
A supposed “good” work can serve as a substitute for an act of obedience that we should have done.
Bearing our own burden is the prerequisite for learning how to trust in the Lord.
The burdens God gives His stewards pertain to serving others, not pleasing themselves.
Growing In Our Dependency Upon God
The greatest battles are fought and the greatest victories are won in secret.
God is the author of a large heart. Only He can make a big man. Apart from Him we are all quite small.
The greatest miracle of all is the miracle of a gracious heart, to love when not loved, to give when not given to.
Religion offers men with a substitute for truly knowing God.
Your greatest fear should not be another mile in a weary land, but leaving the desert with nothing to show for your trouble.
There is no such thing as the unlimited authority of the believer.

Do we really fear a God who said: “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain?”
“Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” (James 1:16,17)
If we would rule well and judge wisely we must first be “swift to hear.”
Examples are wonderful; we all need them. But there is a difference between following someone’s example and being their clone.
Getting mad and madness are not too far removed from one another.
Having the Right Response to Wrong
Whatever the cost, God’s word that rebukes an idolatrous, ungodly, self-serving generation must be preached as God meant it be preached: uncut.
Holding the Testimony of Jesus Christ in a World that is Anti-Christ
Tomorrow is a question
Whose answer is unknown
But this one thing is certain:
My God is on His throne
Be gone wood, hay and stubble, all that not God ordained
Draw near My son, I love you, although you are ashamed
Lord, help me in this journey, where all works for my good
Though everything around me, is not the way I would
Be glad to always find it, where sun above won’t shine
I’ll take the darkest chapter, if Jesus is more mine
My Spirit dwells within you, so you might know My way
But you must want to follow, or you will go astray
How God Uses a World of Frustration to Make True Worshippers
Don’t be afraid to be the only one standing for something.
His voice alone make sure you hear when fear would overtake
Into His hands entrust your soul until in health you wake
There will never be a new “you” until your body becomes the home for a new Spirit.
He looked beyond my vileness
He saw who I could be
He did not let my folly
Destroy His love toward me
Learning from Christ How to Gain the Greatest Level of Respect
While we are accepted before God through the grace of Christ, we are approved before God through our works.
The same situations Satan uses to cause us to fall, God uses to perfect and prove us.
What is Satan’s ultimate goal in tempting us?
Those who have been once “quickened” in the truth can wind up with a case of eternal forgetfulness.
Would you bring Christ a present?
Would you give God His due?
Then live for His good pleasure
And always remain true.
Can you afford to let God be in total control?
Just as God designed seasons for the earth, He has seasons of life for each individual.
While many plans may form in our heart, ultimately, only what God has purposed will stand.
There is “an appointed time” for God to wait and also to act.
Anxiety over being “behind schedule” in fulfilling a call can end up costing us an even greater delay.
The folly of acting in haste, or in slothfulness, is that God will not be working with us.
When God wants us to stay in a place we must do so with all patience of spirit.
We must have courage to go when God wants us to move.
“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD…” (Hosea 6:3)
The Psalm 34 Challenge
The only real preparation we have for whatever befalls us is a living relationship and walk with the Lord.
The man who loves God does not want to be hidden from His eyes.
We need to reckon with the fact that our own proud, willful, stubborn heart, however religious it tried to be, was always the real root of our problem.
God’s instruction is typically rejected out of hand. Why? Because it doesn’t “naturally” make sense.
If you want more you’ll find in Me
A treasure that the world can’t see
That greater grows in all life’s worst
That deeper fills as dreams are burst
As He did with Israel, God calls His church out of the darkness of Egypt and into the marvelous light of Canaan.
No one walks in the fear of the Lord who does not have a hatred for evil in their own life.
I’d rather have God’s “worst,” than Satan’s “best” any day.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17)
There are times when we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it needs to be enough that our Jesus is with us through the darkest seasons of our life.
There is a hidden wisdom in the cross which the world does not know, and a hidden power in weakness that the world scorns.
While the potential to sin still exists with those who are saved, the potential NOT to sin is also there.
Surrender and submission are two different things. Surrender is God’s call to the sinner; submission, His call to the saint.
God wants no confusion of identity.
What we allow to be the meditation of our heart can easily disquiet our soul and drive us down a path of folly.
What is your life in God worth to you?
If there is one place where God’s sufficiency must constantly replace our insufficiency, it is in the love department.
God’s way for sex which He has never and will never depart from is that which He ordained from the beginning: one man and one woman pledged to each other and none other.
Our true character is proved by who we are and what we do in secret.
When men’s lives are empty of the true life and joy that the worship of God brings to the soul they are ripe for the making of idols.
If anyone is to care for your child’s soul it must be you.

but even more I thank You, when in the dark You’re there.
