“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” (John 10:9)
The call of God to all men is a call to relationship. To His foes He offers reconciliation; to His friends He offers the deepest fellowship and friendship. His call is to Himself.
To look anywhere else for true life and joy and peace outside of relationship with God through Christ is to remain a hopeless wanderer. The world will never be enough for you. Finding that special someone will never make all things well. Learning to “love yourself” is not the key that will unlock the door to peace. When Christ is your Shepherd you shall not want.
Let the “journey” end before you take your last breath. God is your ultimate destination in life. He will be found by you, if you enter through the Door. The Door is now open to “whosoever” will enter. Answer God’s call! Come, not to a religion, but to Christ. Find relationship with God. Let the vain quest end; let the true journey begin.
