“… Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.” (John 2:5)
Life in Christ is simple. Obey your Lord. Look to Him always for direction. Once you’ve gotten it, do it, no questions asked. Others may question your decisions. You may question yourself. But what may seem like folly is always wisdom if God is involved.
The cross made no sense to the disciples at first. How could embracing such a path produce anything good? But the Son had heard from the Father and was committed to obeying Him. The opinions of even His closest associates didn’t matter.
If we live to please God our actions at times will be confounding, both to ourselves and others. But God knows what He’s doing. In the end, You will know what He was up to. For now, don’t try and figure it all out. Whatever He wants you to do, just do it.
