“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth …” (John 16:13)
What would the Holy Spirit teach you today? Specific seasons provide fertile ground for God to open our eyes to wonderful truth. Thank God for all He has taught us in the past, but we cannot live on yesterday’s manna. The Shepherd of our soul would lead us into paths of righteousness we have not frequented before. Or perhaps there is truth we have known more with our head than our heart, and today’s trial is the perfect opportunity to make some aspect of God’s word a living reality in our soul.
Are you willing for the Spirit of truth to guide you into all truth; or are you content with what you already know. A wise man said, “Christianity is like a bicycle. If you don’t keep going forward, you fall off.” Today, have ears to hear what the Spirit wants to say to you. Grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord. Buy gold from Him in the fires of your life. Let no season go to waste. The Holy Spirit has a journey for you and the destination is all truth. Don’t stop short.
