“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” (Luke 23:42)
The thief on the cross trusted Christ in the last moments of his life. What a merciful Savior to grant men mercy when they have given Him nothing during their earthly existence but grief. He can change men up until their last breath. How much more wonderful when we give Him the opportunity to change us when we still have life left to live.
Trust Jesus to make you into a new man. You don’t have to think and act and react as you always have. Change that begins today and lasts for eternity is possible in the deepest depths of your being. The same Jesus who once graciously saved a guilty and ashamed criminal from the cross, now saves all who call upon Him from His throne in heaven.
