“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14)
True Christianity is never about “faking it.” It’s not about denial or “putting on a happy face” or claiming you’re healed when you’re not. When God does something, it’s done, it’s real, it lasts.
There is genuine healing in Christ for afflicted bodies and souls. But claiming we are well when we are not does not help us; in fact, it may keep us from getting the real help Christ has to give us.
Don’t settle for a fantasy. Don’t pretend. If you say the daughter of Jairus is just sleeping she better wake up, or they’ll be laughing at you harder than ever.
