Give What Is Given

Michael Beck

“Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.” (Psalm 29:1)

God uses those who are given over to Him. Don’t wait to find something “big” to do for the Lord. Serve Him today in whatever capacity you can. Let Him know: “Here am I Lord, send me!”

What has God put in your hand to do? Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, unto the Lord and not unto men. Don’t get discouraged by results. Don’t compare the “little” you’re doing with the “much” others are doing. God Himself is the judge of our work. Above all, He rewards faithfulness and obedience.

Give God your hands and feet today. Don’t be slothful. Be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. Like Jesus, be always about your Father’s business. Remember, your life has an expiration date! “Only one life, it will soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last!” Live and die serving the Lord.
