The Peace of the Perfect Man

Michael Beck

“Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.” (Psalm 37:37)

The end of the perfect man is peace. He is not ruled by fear or anger because of what he presently sees. Despite how dark the day appears, he knows a new day is coming. Things will not remain as they are. His hope and trust is in God. He knows that no one but God is steering this world to the conclusion He wants. In the end, all will be well upon the earth, and all who have walked with God will be blessed forever.

The perfect man takes his “marching orders” from his God:

Blessed are the peacemakers – they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are those who mourn – they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek – they shall inherit the earth.

Be moved by nothing but the Spirit of God. Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation. Pray. Pray. Pray. Attract God, not devils to your soul. Live in the perfect peace of the Perfect Man – not turmoil, sorrow, and dread.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)
