“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John 4:34)
What God would do with us depends on our commitment to Him. He has us to the degree we give ourselves to Him. The more “sold out” we become to Him and His cause, the more He sees us as a candidate for His service.
We hear His call upon our life because we are positioned by our consecration to fulfill it. That call will come strong upon us. It will be the North Star of our life, guiding our feet on a daily basis. When we finally meet our Lord, He will not judge us in comparison to anyone else, or what they did; He will reward us in proportion to how well we fulfilled His unique call upon our life.
The first step is complete dedication to the Lord Himself. From there, He will place His specific charge upon you. Like your Master, you will know the work the Father has given you to do and it will be all your desire to complete it.
