Perfect Alignment

“Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” (Psalm 119:136)

What matters to God should matter to us. The things that break His heart should break our heart. The Psalmist wept because of the flagrant breaking of God’s law that was all around him.

There is a time when a people’s sins reach to heaven and cry out for vengeance. God has been longsuffering with this world, but there comes a moment when He gives one, last call before judgment falls.

Can the Lord find among His people a remnant who will sound His clarion call? This is not the time for us to have the world’s sensitivities. This is time for us to declare that we are fully on the Lord’s side and agree with His every word.

Jesus called His disciples to be the light of the world, even light that reproves darkness. Darkness is upon us and greater darkness is coming. Now is the time for the church to arise and shine. The contrast between those who are of Christ and those who are of the world needs to be great. The more we hate what God hates the more those of the world will hate us. The more we declare the verdict of God’s law upon their ways, the more we will infuriate them. Let it be so. Be a true witness. The time is short. Our Lord is coming. Be found fully in league with Him when He does.

“It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.” (Psalm 119:126)
