Who do I depend on?
In whom is all my trust?
When mountains loom before me
When trouble starts to crush
When storm clouds break with violence
And refuge is not near
Who do I then turn to
To calm my raging fear?
When no one knows my sorrow
When all have their own care
When friends and kin are distant
And worry fills the air
I have a greater Refuge
Than any can provide
I have a high, strong Tower
In whom I can abide
He calls me in the waters
That crash above my head
To look nowhere but to Him
And to His arms be led
He tells me He’s my Papa
And I am His dear child
Call not upon another
Make sure none else are dialed
For it is His own business
To care for all His own
And He will not forsake those
Who look to Him alone
