Home

Michael Beck

Where do you want to travel? What path would you go down?
Is there a destination – toward which you’re homeward bound?
No matter what you dream of, and set your sights upon
Though grass may there be greener, one day it will be gone
It’s God you must be after, in Him you are complete
So set your compass northward, and stay right at His feet
Remember He’s your portion, beware the urge to roam
Find rest within His presence, let Him become your Home
Then when this life is over, and all earth’s gain is past
Into the Home you stayed in, your feet will come at last
