You tell the world you know Him
You go into His house
You speak about His goodness
But are you faithful spouse?
Bone of His bone He’s made you
That one with Him you’d be
But how much of His glory
Does world around you see?
He came the Light to this world
No darkness is in Him
Your fellowship is tarnished
If you walk still in sin
Do justly and love mercy
Walk humbly with your God
By Spirit’s help be led right
Be sensitive, not hard
If you would claim to know Him
Be known by heaven’s seal
Iniquity depart from
With God at last be real
Love holiness and peace with all
No bitter root let slide
Toward God or man no malice hold
Err not on either side
And in this day when many Christs
Whose witness are not true
Have followers that mar the Name
To whom all honor’s due
Let God abide on mercy seat
Your heart is heaven’s throne
And to each one with eyes to see
Make Jesus fully known
