“But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.” (Psalm 115:3)
God refuses to fit inside the boxes men make for Him. No one will use His Word to manipulate Him. He is beholden to no one’s works or faith. No one dictates to Him what He can and cannot use to glorify Himself.
He who sits in the heavens laughs at man’s attempt to play God. He is the Sovereign God of the Universe who does what pleases Him. He weakens the strength of the mighty. He confounds the wisdom of the wise. He humbles the proud. He breaks out of every box He is placed in. He does things His way. He causes us to know that He is God, and we are not. He is very obliging when we are on the same page as He is. When we are not, expect Him to be uncooperative.
