“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
God has given us a Savior who fits our need perfectly. Yes, He can get us to heaven when we die; but right now He is our great, heavenly High Priest, who can help us successfully navigate the often treacherous waters we face on earth. The Word was made flesh. He came down to earth and into our very skin and existence, not only to show us how to live by and for God, but to then become our Life through whom we could do the same.
Do you wish to be saved – saved not only from hell, but from a hellish life on earth? Then you absolutely need Jesus. You cannot save yourself, but you can destroy yourself. No one else will bring you to ruin. You alone will do it. Why? Because you attempted to face life without the Savior God Himself has provided. Why will you perish when you don’t have to? Turn from yourself and put all your trust and hope in Christ. There is salvation in none other. He is God’s gift to a desperately needy mankind.
