“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” (Isaiah 55:7,8)
1.) Your life in God’s hands will always turn out better than your life in your own hands.
2.) For your life to be in God’s hands requires that you forsake your own plans for yourself.
3.) The world, the flesh, and the devil will fight your full surrender to God tooth and nail.
4.) The choice is this: you abandon your life for the life God has for you; or, you abandon God for the life you want for yourself. You cannot have both.
