“Choose you this day whom ye will serve …” (Joshua 24:15)
Every fiery trial you face can be used by God or the devil. Both are close at hand. You choose who to listen to. You either allow God to work it together for good or Satan to use it for evil. You let it burn you or refine you. You let it be a stumblingblock or a steppingstone. God has a way of escape in it, but so does Satan. The Lord will be your Shepherd leading you even in the valley of the shadow of death or in that dark place you will turn aside to lies.
We are always listening to someone. Make sure you are very attuned to God in an evil day. Both Friend and foe draw near.
