Thy Kingdom Come, My Kingdom Go.

Michael Beck

“As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” (Daniel 7:12-14)

There is a kingdom that has come. It can be entered now through a new birth. It is set up in the hearts of those who have renounced their former treason and pronounced Jesus as their new Lord.

His kingdom is also coming to the whole earth. In that day, every dominion opposed to His dominion, will be “taken away.” Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. The only issue is whether this will be done willingly in worship, or unwillingly in judgment.

Give Jesus dominion (i.e. control) over your life today. Don’t have Him it take away.
