“A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.” (Psalm 37:16)
Bigger is not always better. More is not always merrier. Don’t be afraid of doing less, knowing less, being less. A “little” with God is far better than “a lot” without Him.
Seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness and He will add to your life all you really need. Don’t strive after anything but God. Strive to know Him more. Don’t envy what anyone else has. Be content with whatever God has presently given you. Want Him more than the best life on earth you could imagine for yourself.
God’s “little” is blessed. God forbid the “much” we have is not of Him. Stay in His lane.
“Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.” (Proverbs 15:16)
“Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.” (Proverbs 16:8)
