“And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.” (1 Samuel 3:3,4)
Don’t expect the “great” to rebuke the “great.” Before the lamp of God goes out in the house of the Lord, the Holy Spirit is going to raise up a company of “little” ones with a godly rebuke to a backslidden church. God will use those who have examined their own lives and are keeping the Feast without leaven.
This is time for a faithful remnant to cleanse themselves of all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. The Lord would fill His faithful, little flock with glory as the larger, compromised church becomes Ichabod.
Don’t be afraid, little flock. When the Lord has spoken to you, arise and shine and reprove the darkness that would profane God’s holy place.
