“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 13:12)
God gives us all things richly to enjoy, but not necessarily when we would want them. He does so many precious things in the waiting seasons of our life. Indeed, there is much spiritual benefit to gain as we let patience have her perfect work. We grow in godliness as we cherish things above with contentment. But when the desire comes it is a tree of life. Things we have long waited for are so much sweeter when they finally arrive. The joy that comes in the morning is exquisite for those who have wept through the night.
Some say, “Thank you,” others say, “Thank you, very much!”
