“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
Praise God for pastors and teachers who can give us a hearty meal once or twice a week. But if we’re going to be sustained daily and grow steadily we will need much more than a twice weekly feeding.
The Lord was David’s shepherd and He must be ours as well. When no one was around but his own men who wanted to stone him, David encouraged himself in the Lord. (1 Sam. 30:6)
If you have ears to hear, today you can hear from the Holy Spirit. You don’t have to wait for the church doors to open. Your Chief Shepherd is willing to spread a table before you wherever and whenever your soul requires it. God gives daily bread.
