Going for the Gullible

Michael Beck

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thes. 2:8-10)

Competing sides contend for control of the narrative. In this game, what matters is not telling the truth, but being believed by the masses. In other words, how effective are we in presenting the other guy as the villain and ourselves as the hero?

The slander of God began in the Garden of Eden. According to the serpent, man’s creator jealously sought to keep man from having knowledge that would have benefited him. Since then He has shown himself to be nothing more than a vindictive, controlling, angry tyrant. So the story goes.

As this present world winds down the false narrative is going to pick up. The Creator of the world will be increasingly painted as man’s true enemy. And then the “Hero” appears amidst shouts of “Down with the patriarchy!” Man’s Champion now arises to unite the earth’s inhabitants in one final battle to overthrow the evil Patriarch who has tormented mankind for so long with his oppressive demands and restrictive yoke.

The masses are already being prepped. The Antichrist is in the wings. Whose story will you believe?
